Thank you for your interest in Arcanum Energy Management GmbH. To us, protecting your personal information is a matter of course. As a company organised under private law, we are bound by the provisions of the Data Protection Act (Datenschutzgesetz, BDSG), the Teleservices Act (Telemediengesetz, TMB), and other regulations under data protection legislation. We have implemented both technological and organisational measures to ensure that all data protection rules are met by us and all third-party service providers.
Collection and processing of http protocol data
Whenever you access a page included on our website or request a file, access data documenting this process will be collected and stored in a log file on a server maintained by our provider, www.biomethanmarkt.de. All data sets are composed of the page from which a file was requested, the name of that file, the date and time of day of the request, the data volume transferred, the access status (file transferred, file not found, etc.), a description of the type of browser used, and the client IP address.
We will put this technical information to an anonymous analysis; this is strictly for statistical purposes so that we can further optimise our website. The anonymised data are stored separately from all personal information and do not allow any conclusions as to the personal identities of our clients. This means that your personal data and privacy are protected at all times.
Use of personal data
You will have to provide some personal information in order to use our website. § 3 para. 1 BDSG defines personal data as particulars on the personal or material relationships of a specific or definable natural person. This includes, but is not limited to, information such as name, postal address, email address, or phone number.
We will collect personal data only and to the extent that these data are made available by our clients with their knowledge. In particular, your personal data will only be used with your explicit consent. Beyond this they will not be disclosed to any third parties.
The purposes of the processing are given elsewhere on this website; they are not subject to subsequent changes. Without your consent, your personal data can be disclosed to third parties only if we are required to do so by law or a court decision. You are always entitled to withdraw your consent to having your data processed.
Cookies are sets of data that the web server sends to the user's web browser, where they are stored for retrieval at a later point in time.
You can exercise your right to object pursuant to § 15 para. 3 TMG to the use of your data by configuring your browser so that you receive a message whenever a cookie is to be set, and storage will only be effected with your explicit acknowledgement. Also, you can prohibit the use and/or storage of cookies either globally or for specific websites. Please consult your software's help feature for instructions how to apply this setting.
We have implemented both technological and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss, destruction, manipulation, and unauthorised access. Our employees and all third parties involved in the processing of the data are bound by the Federal Data Protection Act and obliged to treat all personal data as confidential.
Whenever personal data are collected and processed, they are transferred in an encrypted form to protect them from misuse by third parties. The safeguards we have implemented are kept up to date at all times to keep abreast of technological developments.
Persons below 18 years of age should not provide their personal data without the consent of their parents.
As provider, we are responsible for the contents we make available as provided for by general law. Where applicable, these contents should be distinguished from links to contents made available by other providers. We accept no responsibility for any third-party contents that are specifically marked and can be accessed via links, and do not espouse such contents in any way. The provider of the linked website will be solely liable for any illegal, inaccurate or incomplete contents and all losses possibly resulting from the use or failure to use such information. We are responsible for third-party references only insofar as we have had positive knowledge of such references, i.e. of possibly unlawful and/or punishable contents, and as it is technologically feasible and reasonable to prevent such use.
Also, we have no influence on whether the data protection regulations are met by the provider of a linked website.
